• Message from the President

    Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to announce that the 14th Asian Pacific Topic Conference (APTC 2025) will be jointly hosted by the Gastroenterological Society of Taiwan (GEST) and the Digestive Endoscopy Society of Taiwan (DEST). The conference will be held from September 27 (Saturday) to 28 (Sunday), 2025, at the ChangYung-Fa Foundation International Convention Center in Taipei, Taiwan.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Fostering Population Organized Colorectal Cancer Screening in Asia-Pacific.” Colorectal cancer is one of the major health challenges in the Asia-Pacific region, and effective screening is key to mitigating its impact. This conference will bring together policymakers, gastroenterologists, and leading researchers from across the region to discuss the implementation of screening programs, quality assurance, innovative technologies, and international collaboration. We anticipate the participation of more than 200 experts from both Taiwan and abroad.

This important international academic conference will not only serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, but also as a valuable opportunity to enhance Taiwan’s global presence in the field of gastroenterology. We firmly believe that your warm support is essential to the success of this conference and will contribute greatly to cancer prevention efforts throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

    Sincerely yours,
    June2025

    Han-Mo Chiu

    President, APTC 2025
